Pod Porn
So, the porn industry take the initiative with emerging web technology again - mydirtyipod.com is a, currently, free download site for naughty iPod-ready videos and podcasts. Also viewable in iTunes as well I imagine?

Which would beg the question, is there going to be a load of XXX entries popping up on Last FM if you have Audioscrobbler installed on your iTunes?

Sony DRM Rootkit Virus
Electronic Frontier Foundation has released a list of CDs known to have Sony's deadly rootkit DRM technology. If you were foolish enough to buy one of these CDs, and let's face it they are all probably completely shit, then Sony may have corrupted your computer already.

Trey Anastasio, Shine (Columbia)
Celine Dion, On ne Change Pas (Epic)
Neil Diamond, 12 Songs (Columbia)
Our Lady Peace, Healthy in Paranoid Times (Columbia)
Chris Botti, To Love Again (Columbia)
Van Zant, Get Right with the Man (Columbia)
Switchfoot, Nothing is Sound (Columbia)
The Coral, The Invisible Invasion (Columbia)
Acceptance, Phantoms (Columbia)
Susie Suh, Susie Suh (Epic)
Amerie, Touch (Columbia)
Life of Agony, Broken Valley (Epic)
Horace Silver Quintet, Silver's Blue (Epic Legacy)
Gerry Mulligan, Jeru (Columbia Legacy)
Dexter Gordon, Manhattan Symphonie (Columbia Legacy)
The Bad Plus, Suspicious Activity (Columbia)
The Dead 60s, The Dead 60s (Epic)
Dion, The Essential Dion (Columbia Legacy)
Natasha Bedingfield, Unwritten (Epic)
Ricky Martin, Life (Columbia)

This is not a full list, so check out their website, link above, to find out how to discover any other offending discs. Meantimes, get yourselves a copy of Slysoft's AnyDVD. They claim that "If AnyDVD is installed and active on your PC, the new so-called "Sony DRM Rootkit Virus" has no access to your system and the affected audio CD appears unprotected regardless"!
